The three commissions I had done by the lovely sleepysenshi, featuring Nyota Shepard (earthborn/war hero/engineer/paragon) and Liara.

1st: The reception of their wedding, set a year after the events of ME3. The ceremony was asari, but during the reception, Shepard insisted on having their first dance together per human custom, set to The Beatles’ Something. Liara was happy to oblige, even if Shepard insisted on such an old song.

“This is the greatest day of my life. Thank you, Liara.”

2nd: Two years later. While enjoying dinner, Liara tells Shepard–she’s pregnant. Shepard immediately gets out of her chair and drops to her knees in front of Liara, hugging her and nuzzling her stomach. Their daughter would never be alone like she was as a child.

“I love you so much, and I already love our daughter just as much.”

3rd: Shepard holding their daughter, several months old. She has Shepard’s last name, but they agree to name her Benezia, for Liara’s sake.

“Thank you, Shepard. This means a lot to me.”
“Of course. Benezia Shepard… I like the sound of that.”
