a character design came to me in a dream…..
he is a cursed half-elf knight/(prince?) who tattoos all the scars he gets in gold
some ideas that i’m fuckin around with!
- he name idrissa!!!!!!
- he’s like 24
- knight in his human father’s country; his mother is an elf from elfland and he regularly visits with his mom in times of peace
- half-elves kind of get a “bless ur heart” attitude sometimes from full elves because–if they can even use it –their magic isn’t as strong and is more taxing… but full elves don’t usually mean any harm by it
- THAT SAID! when he was young it kind of took its toll on him!! because he really wanted to connect with his mama’s side of the family!!!
- in an attempt to boost his magical prowess as a kiddo he went and got himself cursed (geis’d)
- so he can use magic pretty well buuUUUUt
- his geis is something tricky, br00tal, and extensive–as a kid it started off seemingly harmless but by now he’s bound by it and every refusal costs him half his remaining lifespan (??? still working on consequences but basically he’s stuck)
