thought this up towards the end of my first run with DA2, then forgot about the sketch until much later. was never really planning on drawing DA fanart or writing DA fic, then this shit happens.

p.s. the best thing about this is that other than fenris’s eyes and the red war paint and the red favor, this entire thing was done using a single shade of red-orange. COLORS.

I’ve had this idea in my mind for a while now and I felt confident enough to give it a try.
I’m super happy I did.
The idea was that, as they are walking back through Hightown, I feel that these little moments between Hawke and Fenris would happen… and that makes me happy.
an emotional reunion when hawke returns after sacrificing himself in the fade to let the inquisitor escape. he was there for nearly a month, during which time fenris had been informed he died.
(this is later in the evening on the day he returned. their initial first reunion fenris punched him square in the jaw for being a dead asshole)
