forgive me for ruining this post with my rant but

this is Perfection

this is one of those things people do without thinking when they’re casually intimate; one of those things that are never shown or glorified in post-coital scenes even though it’s the most natural thing in the world, beautiful in its very ordinariness. ‘keyhole’ painters like Edgar Degas were so named because they would capture such poses that were deemed voyeuristic (as in peeping through a keyhole) due to their candid, unposed nature. 

these seemingly inconsequential, in-between moments are what show the nature of their relationship without trying. i want to frame this on my wall. I want to display this in the fucking Louvre. i am in love
